Can brokers be blamed for the current overheating market conditions ?

Many have thought of reasons why the market is as hot as it is, and why the prices have soared so high. Some have even pointed the finger at brokers.

The Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers (QPAREB) however recently completed a comprehensive study of the market conditions and the pandemic, underlining the lack of inventory being the main factor leading to the price increases. It maintains blame isn't to be placed on the brokers.
